5, 2004, American National Property and Casualty Company
has received an A+ (Superior) Rating. This increase
in rating applies to our entire group of companies.
To put this rating into
perspective, only 53.1% of the property and casualty
insurance groups in the United States have received
a letter rating. Of the 53.1% that have received a
letter rating, 12.3% have a rating of A++ or A+, 22.3%
have an A rating and 65.4% have a rating below an
A. This places us among the best companies in our
industry.
